I live in switzerland and I wear size 13-14. In europe, a full size run of kicks is mostly size 7-12. So its usually very hard to get the shoes I want in my size. I remember a few years ago it was almost impossible to get the good stuff. But over the years I have met people (online and in real life) who always were/are willing to help. Because it is hard to get kicks in my size, I really appreciate them and I am thankful to have them and I don’t forget how I got them and who helped me.
I am talking about my favorite store who makes extra phone calls to order the things I want in my size.
I am talking about that guy who always bought the kicks on ebay for me because I didn’t have a paypalaccount.
I am talking about that guy who always helps me to find jewel air force 1’s in my size.
I am talking about the guys who travel all over switzerland and even europe with me so we can get some heat and have a good time.
I am talking about a guy who created a sneakerevent in Switzerland which brought us bobbito garcia and DJ clark kent.
I am talking about Team Big Footers over at ISS. They always help me out finding jordans in size 14.
I am talking about the countless people who wrote me “I can get them if you want” when I wrote a comment on a pic of theirs, saying that I like the shoes but can’t buy them overhere.
I am talking about all the people I met in real life because of kicks. Especially those who live in my city. If it wasn’t for kicks, I probably wouldn’t know them, which would be a shame because there are some kool dudes here.
I am talking about people I meet on the internet and we share stories about kicks or life in general. I know its only a online thing, but I still enjoy it.
There are so many people that have showed love to me and helped me out or just shared some funny stuff with me or sometimes serious things about life and I made all those experiences because of shoes and the internet. Which is pretty crazy when you think about it.
So with this post I just tried to let people know that I appreciate all the love I’ve been getting. I hope that I am not the only one who feels like this and I hope that I can help others out like I have been helped by others.

The reason why I posted the pic of these air force 1’s is simple. they were given to me by a music and sneaker legend. I told him that these kicks didn’t come out in my size here so he promised me that I could have the pair he was wearing. So for me, these are like a symbol for the love that I have received in the sneaker world.
