Before you get to the description, I have a couple of rare jackets in my gallery for sale. Go check them out. Back to these...
The original AMPM Bapestas were super expensive. The Roadsta version must not be as exclusive, because I picked these up off Pondon for pretty cheap ($2 and change). There is an ton of orange on the top of these - all you see when you look down is bright orange outlined in red. I have some bright ass shoes, but these may be the loudest. Just today, folks at the coffeeshop looked confused when they caught a glimpse of the repulsiveness.
FYI... Here are 3 quick tips for spotting fake Roadstas:
1. The leather toe on real Roadstas have far less perforations (holes). I have seen fakes where the tiny holes that cover the toes are very close together.
2. The guy is bragging because he got hooked up by his cousin and only paid $70.
3. You bought them at ANY store in Dallas, Texas.
3.a. The store you bought them at also sells cellphones.
3.b. The store also sells shoes that are shrink-wrapped in plastic instead of proper boxes.
4. The strip of leather that lines the toe (red in the photo above) has a pretty dramatic downturn towads the sole at the star. On fakes, the downturn is very slow/gradual.
5 . The guy is wearing his new Bapes with a white t-shirt that goes to his knees.
6. I have also seen pictures of fakes that had real shiny soles. Real soles are dull, not shiny.
Hope this helps!
