We hear your requests for a photo arrangement feature, and just in time for the holidays, we have a great solution!
One of the improvements we've been making is enhancing the photo tagging system so that tagging photos, retrieving tagged photos and, viewing all your tags is easier and faster. Tagging your photos is a very powerful tool to organize and retrieve your photos.
How to tag/organize your photos:1. Go to your Gallery page to view your photos: example
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/JELLO/162432/2. Click on any photo you want to organize/categorize: example
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/JELLO/162432/3. Find the Tags section on the lower right side panel (you may have a scroll down a little bit)
4. Click on the link that says "Add tags"
5. In the textbox that pops open, enter one or more tags separated by a comma and click "Add". for example you can enter:
nike, "nike dunk low", favorites
5a. You can see that i put the second tag in quotes because if i didn't do that it'll be recognized as three tags: "nike" and "dunk" and "low" instead of the one tag that I wanted, "nike dunk low"
How to view/share your tagged/organized photos:1. Now any time you go to your Tags page (by clicking on the "Tags" link just below the sneakerplay logo when you've logged in), and you will see the most popular ones you have used. here's an example of the Tags page:
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/ayanti/tags/2. You can click on any of the tags and it'll take you to a page with only those photos that you tagged with that tag! For example, say you want to organize all your Lebron kicks:
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/ayanti/tags/lebron/ 2a. Say you want to organize all your kicks that are for sale - it's easy! just tag each of them as "for sale" and it'll create a tag category with all your shoes that are for sale:
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/HEAT23/tags/forsale/ (you have to be friends with HEAT23 to view his pics, but you get the idea, he already has his "for sale" pics organized)
3. Want to share your lebron collection on Sneakerplay or another website? once your photos are tagged/organized, just link to the tags page for the collection you want to share, example:
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/ayanti/tags/lebron/Other notes:# You can add tags when you upload new pics so that they're automatically organized into the tags/albums that you want.
# You can also search members' tags using the search box on the upper left of the main Gallery page:
www.sneakerplay.com/gallery/. the results will get better and better as members tag and organize their pics
While it can be a little confusing at first, stick with it - it really becomes simple as you get used to it. It's a much more powerful way to organize your photos than traditional photo albums, while giving you all the same capabilities.
