Then I decided to draw a cartoon of Hux after he mentioned having a cat, Titled 'Hux the Loser', which was him holding the cat by its neck as if it was a blanky or a briefcase. I made a thread for the cartoon or as I call it 'sketch', people laughed, some flamed. I don't remember if that thread was deleted or not, but I drew a second sketch, this time 4 boxes, a 'comic strip', which I also made a thread for. There was more laughing, flaming and what-not, and to top it off Hux used the drawing as his avy for about 2(+/-) weeks . Thus, I won because I was getting free promotion for my art work. The moment I sent her a message we had a connection that was unlike anything that I had ever experienced before, I mean that I personally could connect with someone so far away and let alone on the internet!! COME ON NOW!! But after that one message it led to more, and more and then the led to the ever ready phone HELLO which for me and her it only lasted 10 seconds because we didn't know how much it was going to cost us. But then when we found out we talked again, and much more.... through AIM, Sneakerplay, and large phone bills we made an amazing friendship that went through the highs and lows of life, we told each other everything, and we always had our little escape which was the time that we talked together. At the time I was going out with many different girls and she was in a relationship of 5 years.... pretty heavy stuff, but we were just friends. I always used to joke and tell her when she would be feeling bad or low, that if she was in florida or with me all her worries and troubles would go away..... boy If i knew back then what i know now!!! But anways the story continues, so one day she calls me and tells me she's coming to florida, and of course my immediate reaction was like ummmmm OOOOKAAAAAY lol. I was like.....thats cool you definately need to hit me up when you come down to see the shops in the area. Well the next call I got was from her and she was literally 30 min away from my house saying that she was in town with her parents and told me to come and see her at the hotel....So me I was mad nervous so I asked my friend to come along....So he came, we met and that night i did what I always said I was going to do was KISS her so I did, and she teared up and I said why are you sad?? She said because she never kissed anyone but the person she was with in the last 5 years, and I replied by saying I told you I would lol, then the next thing you know i got one back!!!, the night finished and I visited her bright and early the next day, took her to all the sites that orlando florida has to offer, well yada yada yada, i got her home and 6am the next morning. A long awaited day of hanging out.... So the next day was new years eve and she was leaving the next day, so i met her at citywalk to say goodbye.......and through the midst of talking for a year and everything that went on after seeing her in person, I had to get an enormous weight off my chest, So I told her i loved her!!! She was speechless, and at first didnt say it back because of course she was in a relationship, and didnt know how to react, but she said she felt the same but couldnt say it, I told her "I said I needed to say it because It was bothering me"....so I left and picked up my brother from a party, and before i dropped him off I needed to get gas so in the middle of downtown orlando on January 1st at about 2am I get a call......Its her crying on the other end, I say "whats wrong?" she says"iv'e been crying" I said "why" She said "Because I love you!!!" Wow was I like what am I in a movie?!!! lol but I let her go and thats how the night ended and of course she left the next day and started her long freaking drive back up to canada, and she had the crazy burden of thinking if she would persue what just happened or say in the relationship in montreal, well after long deliberation of tears, and grief, I told her I didnt care what she did as long as she was happy, So the next thing I know She calls and tells me that she bought a plane ticket to come down 2 weeks later, she came down ended the relationship, and started a new one.......and after 6 months of only seeing each other once a month till august of 08 when she came down and I left with her to drive back up to montreal to live until may 08 where we will be back in florida to stay!! Well after all that drama and pain and happiness I have to tell you, We are engaged and will be married by the end of 2010, So I say thank you to sneakerplay for bringing me the woman of my dreams and my Solemate for life!! With a 5 yr old relationship underneath my sleeve & his extensive female fan base... I knew there was something destined for us more deeper than messages & phone calls back & forth. Drove from Montreal to Florida to discover that SP brought me the real deal! It also brought me the most memorable adventures, most memorable customized sneakers, & most memorable kiss... 1 yr later & we're still rocking matching kicks, living in our own little pad in Mtl, are engaged to get married in summer of 2010, & moving unto new adventures down to FL!!! Can it get ANY better!?!?!? With that being said, when I look back at our story, the 1 most ultimate memorable moment on SP, is having received a comment underneath my image by my one & only dream: Politik.
