So I saw Iron Man earlier today in Seattle (Cinerama), and man was it great. Superhero movies have received a bad rap as of late, and Iron Man is just what the industry needed to change this perception.

Robert Downey Jr. was the clear-cut standout, and his acting was as on point as could be. He was funny, smart, even charming at times, and it all came together perfectly. Pacing was on point, the action was of course awesome, and seeing Iron Man fly through the sky was a treat. I couldn't help but want a suit of my own just to experience the freedom that was portrayed in flying from one country to the next whenever one felt obliged. If you're going to see one movie in theaters right now, make sure it's Iron Man.

I also wore my Futuras, and... dang they're cool. The mix of materials, colors, and feel of the shoe forces me to look down every few seconds, and I couldn't help but smile. No one recognizes Futuras like they do Diamonds or U.N.K.L.E.S., but that's OK because I know the shoe is incredible, and I appreciate them beyond words.

That's all for now, just wanted to throw in my two cents and say 'GO SEE IRON MAN!' It's incredible, and you won't regret it (although I did pay $10.25 for a ticket... can you believe that?).

Go see it, and lastly, wear your Futuras.
